No steel roofs here; haven't been under a metal roof in a while. But I did do a steel roofing site. I also did an insurance site.
God I feel exhausted.. Two weeks of having to stay up an hour later than usual. I'm practicing on prototypes right now so that I don't fall out of practice. It's been too long since I was able to do an actual design, and it sucks because I have already forgotten a few things that used to be elementary to me.
Today when I get home I'm just going to crash. It's ridiculous that I'm still tired, and it's already almost 5 PM. Usually I'm wide away by this time but it's been going on for a week now.
Interesting to see my coworkers joining WoW. Too bad I never have time for it.

More McDonald's
This morning I finally did the pushes on the fast food sites, including the bamboo themed one (I admit it - that Ronald vector cartoon attempt is a bit creepy), a clean and simple sunburst theme, and a more retro, almost Web 2.0 look.
Now to finish adding in the products for Howard Huge's Zazzle site!

McDonaldoz
So, I've been redesigning some McDonald's sites, with one grooving to a louder fast food look, and another with a salad look that I'm still working on.
I'd also like to state that Photoshop is pretty awesome. Generally I prefer to use Illustrator because it isn't pixel-based, but Photoshop is pretty good for making images repeatable, provided you know how.
The method I use?
Well, I off-set the image by approximately half of how wide and high it is (Filter -> Other -> Offset) and then use my stamp clone tool to clone parts of the image so that they blend in together. It's pretty quick once you figure it out, and the results are typically great. Some images are harder than others, and some are easier, but thus far this method has been fail-proof.

moo
Not much today. I did a redesign for a company site; I kind of like the way it looks, even for a fast food site. It was inspired from the commercials I used to watch as a child, before I developed my current tastes.

Yay monday
Today I did a travel vacations site and a home renovation site.
This weekend I found a die-hard IE user. They said Firefox was for people who don't know how to use the Internet.
I told them I don't like them very much and to go check out a real browser like Opera.

mm
Long day and I'm hungry because I didn't get lunch today because I forgot I had cup noodles here.. but they've been here for weeks so yah.. had some Poppycock but that's hardly filling.
Today I did a luxury limo site, a mortgage site, and managed to squeeze out a home based business site.
Need to get home. Already getting stuff going on.
